About

Mat is an award-winning Director and Producer specialising in character-led observational and factual documentaries. He has directed, produced and edit produced hour-long and feature-length programmes for major international broadcasters including BBC, National Geographic, Channel 4 and Discovery Channel. 

Mat has filmed in highly remote and logistically challenging locations across the globe including the wilds of Alaska in winter, enormous South Korean shipyards, and even the Chernobyl nuclear disaster zone. His international filming experience includes China, Egypt, Greece, South Korea, Israel (including the West Bank), Hawaii, Ukraine, Poland, Finland, Italy, Albania, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, and across 17 US states.

With an established critical eye for detail, Mat also works as a finishing Post Producer, taking not only his own shows through final post, but several other series as well. He confidently directs voiceovers, oversees grades, onlines, and dubbing mixes.
